June 2022 Resident of the Month at Traditions of Beavercreek

CAROL BOUCHARD
Traditions of Beavercreek

CAROL BOUCHARD - JUNE RESIDENT OF THE MONTHMeet Carol Bouchard of Traditions of Beavercreek, our June Resident of the Month! She was born and raised in Alpena, Michigan, which according to Carol is located on the “index finger of the mitten.” Carol decided to call Traditions of Beavercreek home after a close friend of hers recommended Traditions while Carol was finishing her stay in rehab. Carol has called Beavercreek home for a little over two years, moving in just before Mother’s Day in 2020.

Carol fell in love and married her “Knight in Shining Armor” when they were 23 and 26 respectively. Her “fly boy” was a graduate of the United States Military Academy in New York (West Point). Carol and her husband have 4 grown children, 3 boys and a girl.

Carol, a retired nurse, is a self-proclaimed schmoozer – stating that is her true hidden talent. Carol’s favorite meal at Traditions of Beavercreek is their salmon and sweet potatoes and her favorite activity is working the large crossword and forget-me-not puzzles with the other ladies of Beavercreek.

When Carol asked if she had any advice for younger generations, she smiled and said, “Life is about people, and we need to take the time to listen to their stories and learn from them.”

When asked why she chose Carol for Traditions Management’s June Resident of the Month, Jennifer Gibbs (Beavercreek’s Executive Director) said, “Carol has a welcoming smile and a wonderful sense of humor; she sends notes of encouragement and gratitude to residents and staff alike. She is a good friend to all she meets.”
