JUNE EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Chloe Burke – Activities Assistant
Traditions of Beavercreek

June EOTMMeet Chloe Burke, Traditions’ June Employee of the Month! Chloe was born in Dover, Delaware, but moved to Try, Ohio, when she was 3 years old. She has since called Kettering, a suburb of Dayton, Ohio, home. Although Chloe has only worked for Traditions of Beavercreek for 4 months, she has made a huge impression on both their residents and staff with her bubbly and energetic personality.

Chloe has two moms, “who she loves dearly,” as well as an older brother and his two children. When she isn’t spending time with her family, she loves to hang out with her best friend, Maddie.

“Maddie and I like to try new things together,” said Chloe. “We especially love to find new and interesting new restaurants and try new hobbies and crafts.”

It’s no wonder that Chloe is an excellent Activities Assistant. When we asked her if she had any hidden talents, she smiled and said, “I really excel at puzzles and crafty things.”

“I am fortunate that I get to do what I enjoy. My boss, Amanda Smith (Activities Director) is amazing; I love her. I am lucky to get to know and interact with all our residents at Traditions of Beavercreek.”

“Once I had a resident that didn’t participate often in activities or Bingo. When I told the resident’s daughter that she came without being prompted, her daughter was so excited. She was incredibly proud of her mother for finally engaging with other residents. Those moments are so rewarding.”

We asked Julie Lesley, Beavercreek’s Community Relations Director, why she nominated Chloe as Traditions’ Employee of the Month, and she had this to say, “First off, Chloe is awesome! She has a constant “can-do” attitude. Whenever she is asked to help, even if it is in another department, Chloe will enthusiastically always say yes. Her personality and spirit are so kind and nurturing toward our residents. We are truly very lucky to have Chloe spreading her joy throughout Traditions of Beavercreek!”

“Chloe is a bundle of high energy with a never-ending bubbly personality,” said Charles Quinn, Beavercreek’s Executive Director, “Her happiness is infectious and the love she has for the residents is evident.”
