INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, SEPTEMBER 9, 2022 – Traditions Management, one of the Midwest’s leading, privately owned providers of independent living, assisted living and memory care, kicks off National Assisted Living Week this Sunday, September 11 with a celebration of Joyful Moments.
Traditions Management currently owns and/or operates 28 senior living communities throughout the Midwest and Northeast, and each of them is finding a way to share joyful memories and create new ones together.
That’s because The National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) revealed in May that this year’s theme for National Assisted Living Week® would be ‘Joyful Moments.
“The communities where our residents live [are places] where caregivers, residents, family members, and so many more come together as an extended family and create joyful, happy memories,” said NCAL Executive Director, LaShuan Bethea. “After the challenges of the past few years, this theme is the perfect way to honor those relationships and celebrate every special moment.”
National Assisted Living Week (NALW) will take place September 11-17, 2022 and will be celebrated with a variety of events to honor Traditions residents, team members and volunteers.
“Our communities are really embracing this,” said Traditions Management COO and Principal, Andy Wade. “Sunday the 11th is also Grandparents Day, so we’re kicking things off for our resident grandparents with giveaways, Happy Hours, live entertainment and more. The week is filled with theme days like Roaring ‘20s Day and ‘50s Sock Hop, as well as pizza, music, matinees, Wii bowling, bingo socials, even a snow cone truck! We are actively seeking joy on a daily basis, but this week is extra special,” said Wade.
