Winter Garden, Florida – April 14, 2026 – Mission Grove at Stoneybrook, the newest senior living community in Central Florida, has completed construction and will celebrate with a Grand Opening ceremony from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12. The new 173,000-square-foot community, which will bring 80 jobs to the area, features 166 residential units in independent living, assisted living and memory care. Mission Grove at Stoneybrook is located at 12911 Stoneybrook W. Pkwy. in Winter Garden.
“Mission Grove at Stoneybrook is a community we’ve built from the ground up with a comprehensive selection of services and care, plus world-class amenities, but most of all, it will be a welcoming, loving home for residents and families,” said Amanda Waterstradt, executive director.
Florida has one of the largest senior populations in the United States, with nearly 6.5 million residents ages 60 and older. The ever-increasing size of this population has created an urgent need for new housing in the state.
The Grand Opening at Mission Grove at Stoneybrook will feature live music, beverages, a flower station for guests to make take-home bouquets, and tours of the community.
Mission Grove at Stoneybrook includes 101 independent living and 32 assisted living apartments, plus 33 memory care apartments. The community offers attractive features such as an art studio, pool, putting green, pickleball courts, and a full hair and nail salon. Mission Grove at Stoneybrook also has community rooms for daily gatherings, a library, pub and bistro and fitness room. Residents have access to 24-hour on-site nursing and care that is personalized to their individual needs. The community is pet friendly.
At the center of the community’s unique design is a striking, 10-foot-tall, 400-year-old Tibetan door, with its commanding presence and sense of enduring history anchoring the building’s fresh, modern spaces.
