Traditions of Lafayette Addresses Senior Lonliness Challenge

At Traditions of Lafayette, staff see senior loneliness as a big challenge.

“Loneliness can have a major impact on the quality of life of seniors living in our community,” said Cindy Downham, community relations director at Traditions of Lafayette. “Our hope is that through this event, we can bring more attention to senior loneliness, offer ideas to add more socialization into their lives, and help them enjoy the health benefits that come from being around people more often.”
