Meet Bridgett Rys of Traditions at West Park Place, our May Employee of the Month! Bridgett, who was born in Bamberg, Germany, was raised in both West Virginia and Michigan.
Bridgett has been the Supervising Housekeeper for Traditions at West Park Place for 2 years. When asked what she loves about her job Bridgett said, “I love the residents. I love chatting and interacting with them. Once, during a Friday musical event, Bud Kehres stopped me and twirled me around dancing. He sang like an angel, and I loved every minute of it! I love my job. The residents and staff make all the hard work worth every minute.”
Bridgett has six amazing children and four even more amazing grandchildren. When she isn’t working, she enjoys going to farmer’s markets and estate sales… or just hanging out and watching Netflix. When asked if she had a hidden talent, Bridgett chuckled and said, “It’s not very hidden, but I love to sing!”
Alexis Roob, Community Relations Director for Traditions at West Park Place noted, “We have had a lot of move-ins and transfers during May and Bridgett has done a fantastic job of making sure each apartment is spotless. She always has a smile on her face and remains calm under pressure. Bridgett has truly earned Employee of the Month.”
