Meet Frederick Agutu, an incredible LPN Dayshift Floor Nurse at Traditions of West Chester! Though he’s been with West Chester for just six months, his kindness, dedication, and positive energy have already impacted their community.
Originally from Kenya, Frederick brings a deep sense of compassion and service to everything he does. He and his wife, a social worker, have two wonderful children - a son and a daughter - both of whom are in college. His daughter, Hannah, even joins the Traditions family as a server during her school breaks!
Outside of work, Frederick is deeply involved in his church and missionary work in Africa, dedicating his time to making a difference in the lives of others. And here’s a fun fact - you might not know that Frederick is a great dancer!
At Traditions of West Chester, Frederick enjoys seeing residents smile and working alongside the amazing management team. No matter what the day brings, he loves that there’s always a reason to laugh. One of his favorite parts of the job is watching residents engage in activities and performances and seeing how much they enjoy those special moments.
“We chose Frederick because he's always HAPPY to go the extra mile,” said LaVel Matthers, Executive Director for Traditions of West Chester. “Fred is the first person willing to jump in and assist with orientation of the new nurses. We are blessed to have him on our team.”
Allie Satterfield, Community Relations Director, added, “From the moment you walk into our community, Frederick can be spotted chatting with residents. He is always eager to welcome new residents and has been our number one supporter as we continue to build census. Frederick goes above and beyond to provide superior care to our residents and their families.”
Frederick, thank you for your kind heart, unwavering dedication, and the joy you bring to the Traditions of West Chester community. We’re so grateful to have you as part of the Traditions family!
