Amanda Bell | Wellness Director Traditions at North Bend
Meet Amanda Bell, Traditions' Featured Employee of the Month! Amanda was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has been the Wellness Director for Traditions at North Bend for two years.
"When I'm not working or running around to different schools and sporting events in the White Oak area for our two children, Melanie (12 years) and Doug Jr. (7 years), I love spending time with Doug, my husband of 15 years.
When we asked Amanda if she had hidden talents, she smiled and said, "I can duplicate my grandmother's delicious fudge!"
Amanda has exponentially more talents than just fudge-making!
"Amanda has brought great clinical leadership and organization to our community," said North Bend Community Relations Director, Marvalyn Zix. "She is a strong resident advocate and wants to help each resident have a positive and enriching experience at Traditions at North Bend."
Larry Conrad, Executive Director for North Bend, agreed and added, "Amanda has moved our community into an electronic charting system and significantly decreased the use of outside staffing. She takes pride in learning new systems and mastering them. We are so fortunate to have Amanda on our team."
"I so enjoy helping our residents live their best lives and giving them their special "wow" moments," said Amanda. "I'll never forget taking two veterans to my kid's school for Veterans Day. The children were able to talk to them. It gave them an amazing opportunity to meet a WWII soldier."
