Meet Ellese Lowery, Traditions' Featured Employee of the Month! Ellese was born in Cincinnati but grew up in the small village of Fairfax, Ohio, home to Frisch's Big Boy's original Mainliner restaurant.
Ellese has been a dining room server at Traditions at Camargo for 2 ½ years and loves the difference she makes in the residents' lives.
"I love getting to know the residents," said Ellese. "A few of the residents recently gave me small gifts and signed a card for my birthday; it felt amazing to know that I was remembered and positively impacted their lives!"
"I no longer live with my family, but when I'm not working, I love spending time with my mom and my younger sister (16). Hanging out with my friends is also something I enjoy. I'm a big fan of going to thrift stores, watching movies, and listening to all genres of music."
We asked Ellese if she had any hidden talents, and she laughed and said, "I never really thought I had one. Most people know me to be quiet… but I can be loud when needed!"
"We nominated Ellese as Traditions' Featured Employee of the Month because she has been an incredibly dedicated member of our team for over two years," said John Hagerman, Traditions at Camargo's Executive Chef. "All our residents and their families love her. Ellese is compassionate and giving in all her daily interactions with residents, their families, and her fellow teammates."
What does Ellese enjoy most about her job?
"Getting to know the residents and their families, of course! I also love laughing with my coworkers. I love the family that we've created here at Traditions!"
