Meet Bob Conner, Traditions' August Resident of the Month!
Bob was born in New York City, New York, and grew up in its largest borough of Queens. Bob has called Traditions of Lebanon home for nearly 1 ½ years.
When asked why he chose Traditions of Lebanon as his home, he smiled and said, "It just felt right. I love the atmosphere here!"
It also helps that his daughter and her four children, three of whom are triplets, live locally!
Bob worked in paper sales before retiring. He is also very proud of the time he spent serving our country.
"I count spending time with my family as one of my favorite things," said Bob. "I also enjoy reading and hanging out with my friends at Traditions. I love playing cornhole; however, participating in Men's Triva is my favorite activity – some of the questions really stump me. Oh, and I play a mean radio!"
Bob added, "The Shrimp and Pasta Primavera is one of my favorite dishes that Chef makes. And, of course, his hamburgers…. Everyone loves the hamburgers!"
Traditions of Lebanon embodies Traditions' Core Values of Important vs. Necessary, Service, Socialization, Dignity, Choices, and Service. It shows in Bob's smile when he speaks about his home: "The friendliness of both the staff and residents is just wonderful! I must share how happy I am here!"
"We nominated Bob Conner as Traditions' Resident of the Month because of his upbeat, friendly and charming personality," said Monique Campbell, Lebanon's Community Relations Director. "Bob is a social butterfly, making friends wherever he goes. He is always a delight to be around, and he welcomes new residents."
