Meet Jonda Sims, Traditions’ April Employee of the Month! Jonda was born in Cincinnati, and raised in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Evanston, Ohio, known as “the educating community.” Jonda, who has been in the healthcare field for over 30 years, has worked as a Memory Care Resident Assistant for Traditions at Camargo since June 2020.
Jonda and her wonderful husband have three children and six beautiful grandchildren.
When we asked Jonda if she had any hidden talents, she stated, “Well, I am very good at sewing.”
In her free time, Jonda said, “I love to spend time with my family. Family time is significant to me. However, I love coming to work and spending time with our residents. It’s so meaningful to know I make a difference. One of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had was receiving a wonderful recommendation from a Memory Care family.”
When we asked Stephanie Stoll, Camargo’s Community Relations Director, why she nominated Jonda for Traditions’ Employee of the Month, she stated, “Jonda’s commitment to Traditions at Camargo has been exemplary, and her hard work inspires everyone around her. Her remarkable talents and skills enhance the lives of our residents each and every day.”
